N OTHER words, "Jesus was wrong or lying. Adultery is not the only reason for divorce. He should have thought of and included these excuses for divorce in His statements (below) that adultery is the only legitimate reason for divorce. Jesus must have been too dumb to think of them, but we, ourselves, are smarter than God... we're smart enough to create these excuses!"

It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement:
32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

Can you think of any other excuses that Jesus wasn't smart enough to think of... that we can suggest to anyone wishing to come up with an excuse for divorcing their spouse? Either Jesus Was too dumb to realize that there are, as we've listed above, far more legitimate reasons for divorce than the single one that He stated, or He Was negligent for not mentioning them! "Bad Jesus!" As a matter of fact... why don't we just get rid of the Bible all together... it's obvious that it's completely inadequate to address the realities of today...

...or is it just that we are?
